With 150 kilometres of diverse slopes and 52 state-of-the-art lifts, endless snowy adventures await you and your loved ones. Children can learn to ski in a relaxed and safe environment on the hotel’s private practice slope, guided by the expert instructors from Almi’s Ski School – exclusively for guests of the Almhof Family Resort & SPA. Even little ones as young as two can take their very first turns on skis, supported with plenty of fun and gentle encouragement.
But the excitement doesn’t stop at skiing! Off the slopes, discover six thrilling toboggan runs – including the Zillertal’s longest at 7km on the Hainzenberg—and experience the rush of snow tubing in the Gerlosstein ski area, where you’ll speed down the hill on inflatable tyres. A true highlight for families is a visit to the Krimml Waterfalls, Europe’s largest, which are beautifully illuminated every Wednesday until 21.30 in winter. And for a unique cultural adventure, stroll along the Almpromenade at Gerlosstein – an engaging themed trail that brings the history and traditions of the Zillertal to life for all ages, even in winter.
